*JOB TITLE: Sql Bi Developer* * Location: **TX-Texas/Fort Worth* *Duration: 6 Months* *M.O.I Telephonic + Face2Face* *Experience Required:-* Description: This position will be responsible for creating, supporting, modifying, and maintaining complex-to-moderately complex data warehousing and Business Intelligence applications in support of U.S. Front Office / Sales & Marketing; managing small projects and maintaining required project documentation; performing complicated business analysis, systems design, systems administration tasks, and/or programming; interacting with U.S. Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other internal business organizations; resolving system and project technical issues; working as a member of project teams; and providing expertise on customer systems and processes. Minimum Experience Requirements: 6-8 years of experience with information systems analysis, design, project management, development, implementation, and maintenance across multiple hardware and software platforms. Experience should include a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and DTS and/or SSIS with an emphasis on SQL programming, multi-dimensional data warehousing design, and ETL processing (and/or related Oracle database technologies). Experience with BI development (e.g. Cognos, Business Objects) and/or web-development (e.g. ASP.NET) is a plus. Experience must also demonstrate a detailed knowledge of standard automated business processes and strong interpersonal skills. Design / configuration / analysis of U.S. Sales & Marketing reporting and analysis systems Database skills requiring significant utilization of MS SQL Server and associated T-SQL and/or Oracle database technologies Analytics and reporting skills requiring significant utilization of Cognos studios (Analysis, Report, Query) and Framework Manager and/or Business Objects technologies Leveling Microsoft Web-based development tools such as ASP.NET to support analytic solutions Project management on small projects and project support with consistent compliance to Corporate policies, procedures, and ethics Effective verbal and written communication to business and technical audiences Create resource loaded project plans Ability to work with remote resources Ability to work on projects simultaneously Effectively translate customer needs into functional requirements QA (accuracy, timeliness, and completeness) of results through effective scheduling of tasks, coordination of activities across multiple organizations, and software testing Documentation / Training for both technical & non-technical end users Ability to develop functional specifications Effective time management through balancing operational and production support responsibilities, ad-hoc customer requests and project-related activities and support Learn and apply the Novartis methodology Bachelors degree in Math, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
