DESCRIPTION:
The
developer implements the integration solutions based on the requirements and
design documents, following best practices, conforming to our Integration Center
of Competency’s guidelines and employing Enterprise Integration Patterns when
appropriate.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:
· Perform problem
analysis and propose solutions for given integration scenarios in a
service-oriented environment
· Interact with Project
Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, System Administrators and stakeholders
throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
· Deliver high quality,
maintainable and extensible integration components based on TIBCO
technologies
· Perform unit and
integration testing before delivering the integration solution
· Follow our
Integration Center of Competency (ICC) guidelines, industry standards and best
practices
· Provide Production
support for the services that compose our Enterprise Service
Bus
REQUIREMENTS:
· At least 3 years of
experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks, Designer, EMS and adapters
· Exposure to TIBCO
deployment environments and architectures
·
Comprehensive
understanding of Message-Oriented Middlewares, Enterprise Service Bus and
Service-Oriented Architecture
· Comprehensive
knowledge of Message Exchange Patterns
·
Experience of Java
Message Service API
· Exposure to RESTful
and SOAP Web Services and related technologies
· Practical
understanding of fault-tolerance and load-balancing techniques
· Working knowledge of
network protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, TLS, HTTP, FTP, SSH, etc)
· Understanding of
distributed transactions coordination and compensation techniques
· Excellent problem
solving skills
· Excellent
communication skills
DESIRABLE:
· TIBCO BusinessWorks
and EMS certifications
· Exposure to agile
development environments
· Exposure to TIBCO
ActiveMatrix platform
· Familiarity with BPM
and Complex Event Processing concepts
· Practical knowledge
of Java programming language and Enterprise JavaBeans
· Understanding of Unit
Testing and Continuous Integration practices
