*Role: Release Manager* *Location: NYC**Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description* The requirement is for a senior (Lead) Release Management resource. Someone with good experience in various version control tools like ClearCase, Synergy etc.. The candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have very good communication skills and should be able to interact with the client directly. He/she should be able to coordinate with offshore team. Experience in working in finance/banking/capital markets will be an advantage. Experience in working in finance/banking/capital markets will be an advantage. *Duties & Responsibilities:*· Devise Release Management plan · Coordinate with different stake holders · Track deployments during different release days · Provide regular status report on preparedness of the release to senior IT leadership *Detailed Technical Skills Requirement* *Basic Technical Requirements*· Very good understanding of SDLC and Release Management · Should have prior experience in Release Management, especially in distributed technologies ( Java, .net etc..) · Should be experienced in ClearCase, Synergy, VSS *Desirable Skills*· Exposure to the Capital Market · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Project Management Skills Requirement*· Must have very good communication skills · Should be able to work in offshore-onsite model · Must knowledge of a development project life cycle. · Identify and understand the scope of functionality and suggest development solutions with cost benefit and design options.
