*Position: Technical Web Business Analyst*

*Location: Charlotte, NC*

*Duration: 9+ Months*



*Mandatory Technical /Functional Skills *

Define business and technical integration requirements and provide the
tactical or strategic recommendations about necessary enhancements or fixes
to production web applications built primarily to execute financial
transactions. The Web BA must have a general understanding about the best
practices involved with user-experience (UX) design for similar websites
and at times will be required to translate conceptual technical ideas into
more layman terms. Strong communication skills and a team player is a must
for this role. He or she will need to document technical specifications and
describe the processes and techniques that could best be applied to the web
application in question. Knowledge and experience with the lifecycle of a
technology upgrade integration process, including planning, analysis,
design, development and testing, is considered highly important. A degree
in Computer Science is a strong plus



• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proven success in the IT industry as a
Technical/Web Business Analyst

• Domain expertise in  Retirement Services  / Plan Management industry -
Defined Contributions, Enrollment, Salary Reduction, Employer sponsored
retirement plans (401k,  and 403bs, IRA’s, SEP IRA’s  etc.) is preferable

• Ability to negotiate equally with IT and Business stakeholders.

• *Must have a good grasp of web front-end technology, Javascript, etc.,
but no coding expertise necessary*

• Must be able to perform gap analysis under the direction of the Manager
or Project Manager

• Plan, conduct, and may direct the analysis of complex business issues to
be solved with process changes and information systems.

• Must be able to facilitate business requirements gathering and definition
in various formats including joint collaboration sessions with business and
IT, targeted Q&A sessions with multiple Subject Matter Experts, and
one-on-one user interviews in order to provide solutions that meet business
and user needs

• Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications
and manage changes to specifications

• Negotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business
unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation

• Analyze business partner operations to understand their strengths /
weaknesses and determine opportunities to improve / automate processes and
functions

• Serve as liaison with Quality Assurance and Test Data Management to
insure test and integration plans meet requirement objectives

• Follow rigorous SDLC and project management life cycle and best
practices, comply with internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other compliance
related processes and adhere to Change Control and Problem Management
procedures

• Must be a creative problem solver, facilitator, flexible, proactive, and
work in a fast paced, ever changing environment

• Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work
independently

• Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized
manner



*Desirable Skills:*

• Working knowledge of Analytics and tagging technology is preferable
