*Job Title: Websphere Architect* *Location: Oakbrook, IL* *Duration: 10+ MONTHS * *Start: ASAP* *Job Description* Deploy an Oracle Meter Data Management System (MDMS v2.x) to manage smart meter events, reads, and metadata required to support such business functions as validation, estimation, and editing of reads, billing determinant creation, meter event executions while minimizing the custom configuration of the MDMS product. *Role Overview: * Participate in the definition, design, and documentation of technical environments for the IBM Websphere platform. Develop and maintain build processes for Dev/Test/Prod environments utilizing Microsoft TFS Repository services, and assist with development of architectural standards for developers. Participate in the development of operations architecture to support production monitoring of platform performance, and error & exception logging. Candidate should have the ability to communicate platform configuration requirements to client shared services teams and work with other technical resources to resolve platform issues (ex. performance, configuration). Candidate will also need to perform other duties as part of overall technical architecture team, such as supporting code migrations during Assembly, Integration, Performance, and Operational Readiness Testing.
