JOB DESCRIPTION:-

 

Managing all cycles of Testing for the Campus Solutions projects at the customer site

 

Position Objective:

Assess the quality for all elements of Campus Solutions.  To validate business processes and technical performance, and to identify and correct errors prior to production operations. Expert knowledge in HP Quality Center/Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

 

Requirements

Must have 8+ years in PeopleSoft Testing across Campus Solutions, Financials and HCM

Must have 3+ years in Leadership / Management role – 5+ team members

Must have led testing across multiple applications for a minimum of one full ERP life cycle.

Experience with testing across PeopleSoft Financials, HCM and Campus Solutions

Must have experience with Tools: HP Quality Center (with Test Director) and MS Project.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         The Testing Manager will work with several application teams to manage the testing effort for a large PeopleSoft ERP implementation. 

·         He or she will work with the customer, PMO and the Functional Leads to:

·         define the testing standards,

·         review and refine the testing strategy,

·         review and refine tests plans, scenarios and scripts,

·         schedule facilities and test sessions,

·         lead test execution,

·         monitor and report testing progress,

·         manage and resolve testing issues

 

The Testing Manager will manage the following types of testing:

·         Unit Testing

·         System and Integration Testing

·         Performance/Stress Testing in accordance with the Performance Management Approach

·         Acceptance Testing

 

Regression Testing: Incorporating any or all previously installed software modules and CEMLIs (Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations, Interfaces) within a system integration test cycle to verify that a new object being introduced does not impact or impair the functioning of previously installed software or objects, and that such tested object integrates and interfaces with the previously installed software and CEMLIs
