Responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting industry-leading avionics systems, this team wants you to be a part of creating the next generation avionics platform. As part of this team you will help apply these systems to a wide range of aircraft as we lay the foundation for the business and regional market for the next decade. This position offers the selected candidate the opportunity to take ownership of the definition of DO-178B Level B domain system requirements as they act as an advocate for the Flight Management System (FMS) team to increase the opportunities for success. Intentional and proactive interaction with internal and external customers and being involved at the appropriate level during development are keys to success in this position. Experience is desired in FAA certification of avionics equipment, Flight Management Systems (FMS) and development of products using an integrated architecture. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, able to multi-task, manage unplanned events, and take advantage of opportunities and events to achieve results that meet or exceed expectations.
