Description: Key
responsibilities: ·
Optimize
performance of Android graphics stack with our latest devices which are based on
various silicon platforms. ·
Communicate with
silicon vendor with our optimization plans and / or any resolving issues. ·
Identify
bottlenecks, and implement performance and power optimizations anywhere in the
software stack. ·
Communicate with
operators to explain any issues around graphics performance. Desired Skills and
Experience ·
5+
years of significant software development experience especially around
Graphics / OpenGL stack. ·
An
Avid Graphics performance hacker (Who does not fear tweaking / tinkering various
part of Graphics sub system). Who is
willing to make the performance experience better than Butter. ·
Excellent C/C++
programming and debugging skills combined with a drive to solve hard
problems. ·
A
solid understanding of 2D/3D graphics ·
working experience
in Android native development. · Strong experience in with Linux and/or
Android ·
Strong
software engineering, architecture, documentation and design skills. ·
Understanding and
appreciation of phone and tablet systems architecture and operating
systems. ·
Knowledge of
different kind of SoCs and an understanding of display and touch technologies
would be advantageous. ·
Ability and
flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national,
