Experience in most of these tools and technologies are required: Eclipse, Maven; Linux shell scripting(Bash, Perl, Ruby, Python); Database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server); Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SWF, Cloud Formation, Puppet); A minimum of two years of hands on experience on big data related technologies (Hadoop, Accumulo, SQOOP, Hive, Lucene, Storm) ; Contract check points at months 1, 3 and 6, depending on performance. Contract may be extended beyond that time frame. The job location is in the Boston Atlantic Avenue site.
