Client uses all Microsoft technologies including ASP.NET, C#, DevExpress
with the latest .NET framework. Microsoft SQL Server 2012 is used for the
database with a Windows Server 2012 OS. The solution will be built
utilizing this architecture and will interface to an existing hosted
infrastructure using IIS 7.5.

Candidate will be skilled to take a lead role in the design and development
of a new web-based software solution, using web user controls, and to
create a new web API for connectivity to the database. Candidate will have
immediate recommendations for how to architect the solution by having had
recent hands-on experience with suggested architecture. Candidate will
build a solution that uses modern design practices in the Microsoft stack
of technologies to deliver a solution that uses best practices in design
for performance, security and reusability.

Candidate will be a primary contributor on the project and is expected to
be hands-on developing the solution as a lead .NET developer/architect.
Candidate will most likely also write stored procedure logic to interface
to the database to the web UI and will be expected to have no problem
architecting queries that are optimized for performance.

Pre-Screening

1.      Describe a specific project that the candidate has worked on that
exhibits the experience characteristics needed to be successful on this
project.

2.      Describe the full stack of technologies used, including the
architecture design and technologies used for the web page development

3.      Duration of experience with said technologies. Experience level in
this area (1-10), with 10 being an absolute sweet spot for candidate

4.      Hands-on experience with recent project (1-10), with 10 having
developed every line of code.

5.     This is a fairly small project that we'll wish to complete on a
short timetable. Can this candidate engage quickly and be successful as a
primary contributor to lead this effort? Describe attributes that
demonstrate that this candidate will perform for us.

6.      Is there a project sample? Website hosted online, for instance, to
be used as a reference?
