Looking for *Java Developer with Appian experience in Washington, DC - Long Term *- Please share resumes to [email protected] Technical Skills Required · Highly skilled across the entire SDLC of enterprise class Java, including requirements management, creating test strategies and test cases, participating in and leading code reviews · Strong workflow and web service skills, using Appian or BPMN standards based tools for workflows, and implementing web services based on Java interfaces or WSDL contracts · Experience working with Apache CXF, or similar web service frameworks · Strong XML technologies skills, including using various Java XML APIs, and working with XML Schema (XSD) · Experience with large complex systems integrating multiple components with technologies from multiple vendors · Experience with creating and extending data access layers using Java technologies to persist XML and Java objects to a RDBMS. Experience with Oracle as the database is valuable. · Engage hands-on the software development efforts including delivering software code in the programming language relevant to the project, mainly java, JSF, ADF · Familiar with and comfortable in an Agile development environment and continuous integration development process - Expereince in the following: Broad development experience to include Java/J2EE and Web technologies -Experience with HTML and AJAX, Adobe web development tools, CSS and Javascript, Jquery, XML and XML Beans,IBM Websphere Application server, Websphere MQ - Extensive knowledge of Web Development including JSP, JSTL, Servlets, Session Management - Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills to resolve software design issues and create new software for one or more products - Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members - Good communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnel - Ability to synthesize broad and narrow concepts of high complexity and use them to meet company objectives - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in computer science - Six or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming - Experience working with software design principles *This position will also include preparing documentation describing the technical solutions that are developed.
