Position : SAP Oracle/BASIS Database Administrator Location : Kansas City
Duration : Long Term *Required Skills*: * 6+ years of experience with Oracle database administration * 5+ years of experience of BASIS administration experience in BW systems installed on Unix or Linux environments * 4+ years of experience in relational and/or hierarchical database technologies * Must have experience supporting Oracle 11g Certifications Required for the position: Oracle Database certification: OCP (10g or 11g) * Copy of Certification must be submitted with Resume and Skills Matrix Description of Day to Day Duties: * Serves as subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle database administration and also working knowledge in SAP BASIS and maintaining data for SAP ERP and CRM systems * Leading BASIS and performance activities by providing technical direction, resolving issues, and creating an environment of continuous improvement * Database support for Oracle & SAP regarding security, maintenance, performance, fine tuning, and trouble-shooting * Provide critical support in 24x7 production environment * Provide direction to customer in establishing processes and procedures using industry best practices. * Interface with the government Database Management Office, Development Office Managers and application developers * Work with the government infrastructure teams to provide input for installation and configuration of Oracle and SAP databases.
