Please send your profiles to :[email protected] Solution IT Inc. is looking for an *MicroStrategy Developer* for one of its clients in Bristol, CT. *Job Title * *Sr. MicroStrategy Developer* *Responsibilities* · Design, develop and deploy complex MicroStrategy Reporting solutions · Assist the Business Intelligence Architect with data warehouse design and project design for optimal report performance and increased report functionality. · Function as hands-on report expert and guides others in defining and implementing technical specifications for BI solutions. · Mentor/coach others in a team environment. *Required Skills * · At least 6 years of MicroStrategy: version 8 or above (client uses 9.2) · At least 5 years of BI (Business Intelligence) experience · Experience using Microstrategy Architect to design a project including creating facts, attributes, relationships and hierarchies · Microstrategy report development including creating metrics, filters, prompts, consolidations, and custom groups · Some experience with MicroStrategy SDK (software development kit) to customize the look and feel of the user interface. · Microstrategy Report Services Document creation (dashboards) · Microstrategy Intelligence Server and Web administration helpful · Performance tuning Microstrategy reports including configuring VLDB settings · Relevant experience with data centric projects such as data warehouses, relational and dimensional models, analytics and reporting · Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake Schema, OLAP) · Solid understanding of Agile development methodology · Experience with Oracle 10g or higher · Candidate must have an understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing principles and architectures including the concepts (Understanding of Kimball methodologies), designs and usage of data warehouses and data marts. · Be able to lead others and have strong Communications Skills. *Work Site: * *Bristol, CT* *Duration * 6+ Months *Expected Start Date*: Immediate - 2 weeks *Number of Positions* 1 Please send your profiles to :[email protected] While submitting your resume please furnish following details Full name: Expected rate : Contact # (Home/Cell/Office): Current address: Visa Status: Availability for Phone interview: Availability to start (after confirmation): -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
