*Job Title: Jr Citrix Consultant * *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration: 11+ months* *Rate: $44/hr* *Summary: * Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Responsible for monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. *Job Summary/Description: * At least 5 years of formal experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Citrix XenApp system administration including infrastructure implementation, support and configuration. The candidate will be expected to troubleshoot issues on the Microsoft Windows server platform and have advanced knowledge of Citrix XenApp application virtualization. They will troubleshoot production incidents, providing corrective actions and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a large enterprise environment deemed mission critical and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. The candidate will help manage the migration project from Citrix XenApp 4.5 to 6.5, which covers updating Citrix infrastructure and business applications as needed. Experience with XenApp policies and EdgeSight for XenApp is necessary. *Work related skills: * Extensive knowledge in Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and Citrix XenApp 6.5 with proven infrastructure implementation, support and application configuration experience. Extensive knowledge with the Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 operating system platform as well as Microsoft clustering technologies to support file and print services. Working knowledge of virtual infrastructure technologies (VMWare) and application virtualization (Citrix XenApp). Great customer service skills/comfortable working with end users to solve issues escalated to the group. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to effectively decipher and comprehend both technical and business documentation.
