Expert-level SQL skills, PostgreSQL preferred Able to architect and implement solutions to complex problems on large, highly scalable systems Able to hit the ground running within a CentOS, PostgreSQL, Perl/RoR environment Strong background in OOP, MVC design, and SOA Solid understanding of industry best practices on a range of development topics *Role 2: Senior Software engineer- Open source programming* Senior level software engineer background with 7+years of experience Consultant must have previous experience in OOP, and coding Skills in Perl and Ruby on Rails. Extensive prior experience building MVPs and iterating against them Strong background in OOP, MVC design, and SOA Able to hand-code HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS Solid grasp of source code management fundamentals (git) Enjoy collaborating with others, though you will be the primary developer on this project Note: The client needs two professional references during submission from recent projects, without which submission is invalid.
