Provides technical guidance and leadership to the database administrators in the organization. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Establishes corporate standards for disaster recovery, data retention and database security and monitors industry standards. Performs project management tasks, including estimation, status reports and scope management. Determines database requirements for projects and ensures that new systems comply with database strategies. Provides implementation and ongoing support. Translates detailed design into physical database structures and performs database testing. Builds and supports required database test environments. Provides technical expertise in troubleshooting and DBMS configuration. Provides 24x7 production and non-production DBA on-call support Oracle - Required * 8-10+ years of Oracle DBA Experience * Experience building Oracle RAC on Linux/Unix platforms independently * Experience with Database performance tuning * Experience with Backup / Recovery for Oracle Databases * Oracle Certificate valued, but not required * Understanding of JAVA . Oracle Database o Active Data Guard (ADG) o Real Application Clusters (RAC) . Oracle Siebel o CRM Base o CRM Financial Services Option . Oracle WebLogic o Used for Costpoint only o Microsoft - Bonus if they have also have Microsoft * 2-3 years hands-on experience required. Microsoft certification a plus. .
