Job Title               : Customer Project Manager - IV

Location               : Austin/Huntsville, TX

Duration              : Long term - 4 year



Short Project Description:



·         The project will provide software, hardware, and services
required to implement and deploy an extensible Commercial-Off-The-Shelf
(COTS) Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).



Skills Required: Must Have:



·         Prior Document Management experience managing a FileNet
implementation

·         Skilled in Microsoft Project Schedule

·         Project managed Large scale projects over 4 year duration

·         Project managed government related projects

·         Use of HP LoadRunner

·         Use of HP ALM or Quality Center

·         Use of HP Unified Functional Tester

·         Use of FileNet

·         Understanding of document management

·         PMP Certification



Optional Skills:



·         Knowledge of Defender management systems



Job responsibilities:



·         Shall be responsible for performing key project management
activities throughout the project life cycle, to include planning,
managing, reporting, and controlling all of the work tasks and activities
required to provide the services and produce the deliverables described in
the Contract.

·         Shall be required to prepare and submit written weekly status
reports and formal Monthly Progress Reports as part of the services to be
provided.

·         Shall produce monthly Progress Reports shall include, at a
minimum:



(a)    A description of progress made during the reporting period;

(b)   A listing of significant departures from the Project Plan with
explanations of causes, effects on other areas, and strategies to achieve
realignment;

(c)    Outstanding issues and recommendations for resolution;

(d)   Deliverables completed during the reporting period;

(e)   Tasks, activities and deliverables scheduled for the next reporting
period; and

(f)     A summary of risks and impacts identified and identification of the
action(s) and person(s) responsible for mitigating the risks and resolving
problems.



·         Shall be responsible for providing weekly status reports and
shall participate in status meetings as required. Will use the status
reports to monitor activity and to detect potential problems or delays.



The weekly status reports will serve as the agenda for project status
meetings. Topics to be covered, at a minimum, include:



(a)    A listing of tasks completed since the last report;

(b)   Tasks that were delayed and reasons for delay, with expected revised
completion date;

(c)    Planned activities for the next scheduled period;

(d)   Summary of major concerns or issues encountered, proposed
resolutions, and actual resolutions; and

(e)   Any other topics that require attention.
