Job Title: Unix/Linux Systems Support Analyst Start Date: 4/7/2014 End Date: 12/31/2014 Location:Bloomington, IL, US Skills include: 1) Experience with LINUX, VMware, Tomcat webserver, and shell scripting 2) Experience and/or knowledge of Storage Area Networks 3) Knowledge of x86 server architecture 4) Experience with Logical Volume Manager (LVM) and Networked File Systems (NFS) 5) Ability to create, review and update and develop technical documentation Responsibilities include: 1) Builds new and/or modifies existing software to meet business and technical requirements 2) Implements software solutions and resolve problems 3) Provides support for problem and issue resolution and provides technical consultation 4) Demonstrates a working knowledge of web development tools, processes, and technical architecture to perform daily activities 5) Handles and resolves routine problems and moderately complex assignments, but may require assistance and guidance for more complex issues 6) Develops knowledge of areas within client and how they relate to assigned area and each other 7) Leads tactical work and contributes to strategic work (creating new or modifying existing applications/tools to meet technical specifications or business needs) and coordinates team activities as needed 8) Works under general direction/guidance 9) Experience with DNS and TCP/IP 10) Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex hardware and operating system issues and perform incident and event trend analysis 11) Ability to complete initial root cause analysis and recommend/develop automated solutions as needed. 12) Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, DHCP, and DNS. 13) Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting and develop solutions. 14) Strong knowledge of Service Manager and a basic understanding of OVO monitoring. 15) Familiar with router and switch hardware. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
