Position: ETL Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: Long Term Job Description: * Help, Design, Develop and Deploy the ETL processes to for the Data Warehouse team * Create, debug, and execute Informatica mappings, sessions, tasks * Participate in development, defect resolution on existing ETL processes * Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team to design and develop required ETL processes, performance tune ETL programs/scripts. * Maintain and enhance ETL code, work with the QA and DBA team to fix performance issues. Desired Skills: * Hands on Experience in INFORMATICA (tools like Power Center, IDQ, and Metadata Manager is plus) * Good experience with PL/SQL and shell scripting, Oracle or Teradata experience * Oracle or Teradata experience from the development perspective (database and application), PL/SQL, Solaris, etc. * Ability to analyze existing ETL code in INFA, PL/SQL and shell script, and determine impacts and remediation. * Ability to analyze existing database schema DDL/instance layout and determine impacts migrating to new target schema/instance environment. * Ability to provide guidance to global developers and to lead certain design activities. * Ability to interact with external DBAs and help * Strong understanding of BI/DW concepts * Strong communication and documentation skills * Knowledge of modeling tools like ERWIN * Strong experience with data warehouse implementation * Experience with ETL Operational Support and maintenance projects and run various tests such as unit, regression, integration, mappings, and workflows -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
