Please include your employer details as well and reply to my official id [email protected] <[email protected]> JOB TITLE: SQL BI Developer Location: CT-Connecticut/New Haven Duration: 4 Months M.O.I Telephonic + Face2Face* *Consultant must have experience in Mortage or Insurance company* *Required experience and training:* - 4+ years of experience with Reporting/BI tools, preferred SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - Strong Experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and development of complex queries. - Experience with version control systems, preferred SVN. - Experience with XML and XSLT. - Experience in creating dashboards or other executive-level reports. - An understanding of OLAP Cubes *Skills and abilities* - Proven ability to design and develop applications targeting specific technologies and user communities. - Excellent understanding of application design principles and the ability to execute those principles. - Excellent organization skills, specifically with assigned tasks and use of time. - An ability to understand complex business rules in a short amount of time - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, while keeping priorities aligned. - Must be a fast learner with a strong desire and motivation to learn new technologies and the internal environment. *Optional / desired skills* - Familiarity with fund raising systems, preferred: Blackbaud Enterprise Constituent Relationship Management. - Experience with ETL tools, preferred SQL Server Integration Services ( *SSIS*). - Experience with Tableau Business Analytics software Description: Reporting to a Technical Lead, this position develops capabilities within a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) environment in order to provide accessibility to data from an existing system. *Essential duties of position* - Perform various coding, debugging and unit testing tasks in support of assigned project. - Provide ongoing maintenance and support for assigned applications and/or systems. - Participate in the estimation of work and provide input into the project plan for delivering that work. - Provide ongoing input to the establishment of programming standards and methodologies. - Apply current programming standards and methodologies to all relevant projects and activities. - Participate in training and mentoring of technical staff. - Position may require off-hours system support, including periodic on-call responsibilities.
