*Linux Administrator Duration: 6 Months + Location : Cincinnati, OH*
*Job Title Linux Administrator (RHEL5/6)*
Relevant Experience & Experience Required (in Yrs) 5-7 years of
relevant experience
*Technical/Functional Skills*
• RHCE certified associate (preferred)
• Hands on experience with mass Linux server deployment in
Virtualized environment
• Hands on experience with Server Hardening and Performance Tuning
• Hand on experience with following services/protocols on RHEL:
LDAP, PAM, HTTP, SSL, SSH, DNS, NFSv4, Kerberos, CIFS, FTP, SNMP
• Hands on experience with configuring/troubleshooting servers
with Remote Storage
• Ability to configure and maintain centralized Authentication
and Authorization mechanism for RHEL
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management processes like
Incident, Problem, Availability, Capacity, Change and Release Management
• Understanding of Vmware Virtualization products
• Good scripting knowledge in Bash, Perl, and Python scripting
*Roles & Responsibilities*
• Install, Configure, Manage & Maintain RHEL servers
• Configure and Maintain security configuration of RHEL servers
• Configure and Maintain Availability and Capacity monitoring of
the RHEL servers
• Configure and Maintain centralized authentication of RHEL
servers with MS Active Directory
• Work on Incidents, Configuration Changes and Release for RHEL
servers
• Work with Vmware Virtual Center for provisioning RHEL VM
• Develop and Troubleshoot automation scripts
• Support Installation of Middleware (Weblogic/TIBCO) and Oracle
DB
• Documentation
