Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location to speed up the interview process. *Job Title: Progress/Unifi Developer* *Location: Los Angeles, California* *Duration: 1 Year* *Rate: DOE* *Position Summary:* Researches and writes technical specifications including problem definition according to IT Development Standards. Codes, tests, debugs documents, and maintains programs. Carries out assignments and provides technical guidance to junior members of the unit when requested. Designs systems and writes user procedures. User contact includes system definition, system design, problem resolution, and providing status. Supports applications and handles assignments with major complexity and scope. May manage projects with multiple cross-impact areas. *Position responsibilities:* 1. Supports applications, revising, updating and providing documentation as required. 2. Leads, executes or participates in parallel, pilot and other system test phases prior to implementation to ensure accuracy and completeness. 3. Researches, prepares detailed specifications, defines designs, develops tests, debugs, installs, and modifies computer software in various platforms in a complex and integrated systems environment. 4. Supports package software installation, updates, upgrades, quality testing, and deployment. Works with vendor and business unit to ensure functionality meets needs of business unit. 5. Involved in the entire lifecycle of the projects including Design, Development, Testing and Implementation and support. 6. Responsible for the production reliability and operational stability of assigned systems. 7. May be responsible for managing small to medium projects. 8. May be responsible for developing project plans and other project documentation. 9. Provides technical expertise in the examination and definition of objectives for existing or proposed systems and in the design of improved systems utilizing information services. 10. Provides technical assistance to staff, including interpretation of specifications. 11. Researches new developments in hardware and software. Maintains currency in techniques and tools enabling system proficiencies and performance improvements. 12. Evaluates and recommends various technical solutions to meet requirements. Develops proposals including systems, consulting services, benefits and costs. Provides system configurations and interface strategies. 13. Performs systems integration testing and user acceptance testing as required by software development lifecycle. 14. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. *Job Specifications* Required Education or Equivalent Experience Bachelor's Degree BS in IS, Computer Science or a related field *Required Experience:* Three to five years of experience in web applications development Progress 4GL, C++. VB, Rakis, NetSpeed, and Citrix. Experience includes Database Design, Analysis and Development with Progress, MySQL 5, SQL Server. Proficient with Apache Web Server 2.0, Unix Shell Script, HTML, CSS, Java script 1.8, and IIS. *Files of Experience:* Requires thorough understanding of Unifi mortgage and banking application systems. Has strong knowledge of business systems, and has specific knowledge of the functions supported as well as their associated functions.
