*Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator/Linux Server Administrator* *Location: Stamford, CT* *Duration: Long Term* *Rate: $Negotiable* *Technical Requirements: * •Installing, configuring and maintaining Linux Servers / Virtualization •Installing and Maintaining kickstart environment •Patch and Package administration •Printer Administration •Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task •Configuring and supporting domains •Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue •Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance •Configuring Unix Security baseline •Establish and execute on systems performance management requirements and systems capacity management requirements. •Collaborate with application development teams on the use of server resources contributing to high-quality, long-term solutions. •Engineering groups, as well as Development groups and Client Relationship groups •Ability to provide consulting and guidance to Product and Development teams regarding current best practices and alternative solutions •Ability to quickly learn new technologies required for accomplishing project goals •Willingness and ability to produce high quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as well as detailed instructions outlining the steps •required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure. •Strong customer service skills with high level of professionalism, and ability to work with complex situations. •Evidence of being a member of a team of system and/or network administrators and/or engineers within a fast moving and changing environment. •Ability to identify limitations in systems and to build a solution that you are able to deploy with limited effect on service. •Performance Management & Fine Tuning •Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning •Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) •Good documentation skills •Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio) •Should have a great customer handling skills •Able to handle unforeseen situations •High level of acceptance •Worked on Production systems •Data center understanding •Experience with Server Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching Best Regards, *Tim* *Cohesive Technologies* *Desk: 678-720-1555 || Email:* [email protected] <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
