SOA developer
Location:- San
Francisco, CA
Duration:- long term (12-18+
months)
Position:
Senior SOA
Developer required for developing, deploying and supporting the Oracle Fusion
SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus implementation and production systems. This
position will also include writing best practices and procedures, developing
code, code reviews, scripting, and batch processing.
SOA Developer will
have domain expertise with service oriented architecture, the Oracle SOA Fusion
Middleware stack, Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Oracle JDeveloper,
and BEPL. This position is expected to participate in the full development life
cycle for enhancements and customizations. They will have critical responsibilities of ensuring the quality
of the software architecture and function, as well as any enhancements and
customizations.
The Developer will
assist in developing production support procedures, including research and
resolution, data analysis, error handling, training to support effective and
efficient production operations of the system.
Experience
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science. Minimum of
7 years directly related work experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA
development and Oracle Business Activity Monitoring. Advanced
to Expert knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware SOA
modules
* Implementation/Development Experience
* Proven track record in at least two large system
implementation projects, including a project which involved large sets of
transactions
* Advanced knowledge of web
applications and programming, database, infrastructure, and information
management.
* Experience working with
implementations in a government or civic service environment.
* Advanced to Expert Level Skills with the following
Development Tools and Technologies:
*
Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Business Activity
Monitoring, and Oracle Service Bus
* Java
/ J2EE development
* BEPL, Oracle Rules
Engine
* JDeveloper
* Web service development and support
* XML technologies, such as XSL, Xquery, XSD, SOAP,
WSD
* Experience with Oracle Coherence
Cache is a plus.
* Excellent technical
and data analytical skills, collaboration and teamwork skills, and a great
service oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills (Oral and written),
interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. Ability to work with both
functional and technical personnel.
*
Ability to influence technical discussions and
decisions.
* Ability to
perform under pressure, handling interruptions and changes without losing
productivity.
