*Javascript Developer * *Duration: 6 MONTHS Contract * *Location: Beverly, MA * *Responsibilities:* · Participate in our bug tracking system to quickly resolve issues that are raised both internally and by our clients · Help the team with brainstorming, planning, developing, and testing new versions of our existing software as well as new products and client feature requests · Work closely with our User Experience team and User Interface design team to re-design existing features as well as add new functionality to our systems · Identify system deficiencies and propose solutions · Pro-actively seek opportunities to broaden their knowledge base on emerging technologies as well as existing products that we could make use of in our environment · Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, and/or Department Head *Requirements* · Strong understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS and the ability to write clean, concise code · The ability to adhere to all current web-standards and best practices · The ability to work independently and meet strict internal and customer deadlines · The ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at one time *Desired Skills* · The following skills are not required but candidates meeting one or more will be given preference; · SVN, GIT, or other code repository experience · The ability to comfortably use command line environments such as Linux, Unix, or the OSX terminal · Experience developing modern, clean, and responsive user interfaces using Sass · Experience with the ExtJS JavaScript framework -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
