Building, scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. Support existing systems with VB / VB.NET / SQL Server / Web Services / Java *Position Requirements We're looking for: * Bachelor Degree Computer Science Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to own projects and work with minimal direction A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices and Change Management. 5+ years of experience with VB, VB.NET, C# and VB Script (Microsoft certified) Web services development 5+ years of experience with complex SQL (Dynamic, Stored Procedures and Triggers) Excellent interpersonal skills Familiarity and experience with architectural design Troubleshooting and supporting web applications Languages: VB, VB.NET, VB Script, C#, Java Script, HTML Databases : SQL Server Valued, but not required: Mobile Communications development Relational Database Administration experience Technical writing experience Support experience Prior transportation industry experience Fleetwave software Netsuite ERP experience Salesforce experience (CRM) *This is an initial six (6) month contract role, with the possibility to extend and/or convert to an internal employee. *We're offering a highly-competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
