I have a Peoplesoft role which will be a 5 month contract to start.  They
want the candidate to start on the 27th. Will hire over the phone or skype
if the manager finds the right person.  We want to hire this week. Role is
located in Horsham PA.



*Job Summary*

we are seeking an experienced *PeopleSoft System Administrator *who will
work as a member of a project team responsible for the full system upgrade
of PeopleTools (8.49 to 8.52) and HCM Application (8.9 to 9.1).



Primary responsibilities include:  installation of new PS environments,
upgrading copies of production environments, application of bundles,
patches, and tax updates , and application of customizations.    Upgrade
experience from installation to deployment required;  must be able to
provide  issue resolution in these environments raised by application and
testing teams,  coordinate the migration of customizations, updates, and
patches/fixes across all  PeopleSoft upgrade instances.

*Specific Responsibilities: *

·         Installation of PeopleTools version 8.52 and HCM demo application
version 9.1 .

·         Installation of Weblogic 10.3.4, Tuxedo 10gR3, Oracle
Jrockit64-bit, Cobol compiler.

·         Installation and configuration of application servers, process
schedulers, pure internet architecture,  PeopleBooks, Verity, and work
stations.

·         Upgrade copies of production environment from PeopleTools 8.49 to
8.52.

·         Upgrade copies of production environment from HR 8.9 to HCM 9.1.

·         Coordinate, plan and assist with the installation and migration
of fixes, customizations, and configuration throughout the PeopleSoft
instances.

·         Provide technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and
resolve environment related issues for the Web, Application, Batch, File
and Database servers.

·         Assist in debugging PeopleSoft errors with developers and with
third party support.

·         Assist in performance testing PeopleSoft components.

·         Enforce policies and procedures with regard to PeopleSoft
Administration.

·         Communicate appropriately and effectively in oral and written
form with other developers, managers, and other IT groups as needed.

*Skills  Required*

·         5+ year’s experience with upgrading PS HCM. Upgrading from 8.9 to
9.1 a plus.

·         5+ year’s experience with Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
Experience with 2012 a plus.

·         5+ year’s experience with Microsoft Windows Servers.  Experience
with 2012 a plus.

·         Experience with upgrading a 3rd party supported PeopleSoft
application

·         Experience with Proxy servers a plus

·         2+ years’ experience with Integration Broker
