Also looking for candidates with experience in Agile testing and leading a testing team. Candidates that have an inquisitive nature, great communication, and are detail oriented would be a good fit for the role. * *Top skills – * 1. Experience as a self-directed QA Engineer - no mentor on site so the manager is looking for candidates who can jump right in and bring their own knowledge and experience. 2. Testing both UI and back end - Java and JavaScript 3. Ability to collaborate. Contractor will be interacting with internal TR team members. This role includes requirements analysis, test planning activities, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and execution of all testing required to ensure that the software is of the highest quality. Testing levels may include application integration, system, system/network integration and acceptance testing; may also include non-functional testing such as performance, volume, load and fallback. Testing activities shall be conducted in a fast paced, Agile development environment requiring continual collaboration with the project team. *Primary Job Duties *• Responsible for providing the planning, integration, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project. • Reviews business requirements and designs specifications for low to moderately complex changes/systems for completeness and testability. • Collaborates with project team in developing and maintaining test plans, test environments, test cases and test scripts. • Evaluates, recommends and implements appropriate testing tools. • Conducts testing using company-specific, manual or automated processes. • Executes test scripts/cases and communicates the results of testing. • Prepares and maintains test case documentation which may include alignment to client configurations. • Diagnoses and resolves technical and operational problems of testing environment(s). • Documents all problems and works to resolve them. Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
