Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing testing on websites and backend applications, identifying defects, anomalies and potential improvements, assisting programmers in identifying program and/or system errors, and ensuring that business requirements are met. Properly report and track defects in an automated bug tracking system. Write test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. Perform a variety of software testing, including installation, functional, regression, and browser compatibility testing. Understands the software development life cycle and Quality Assurance processes and applies these principals to maintain a high standard of quality for out software products. *Essential Functions:* • Participate in cross-functional teams to define business requirements for new products • Review requirements and scope documents • Write manual test cases and automated test scripts based upon requirements documents • Stage development code to test environment • Test all application changes that are assigned to you • Create and update defects in Pivotal Tracker system • Perform unit, integration, system testing, and regression testing • Communicate project statuses to QA, development, managers, and business customers. • Create release metric documents for releases you are lead for • Create staging documents for staging code to production environment • Formally review staging document with Infrastructure and Development • Train customers on new applications and application changes • Perform functional verification of all application changes after they have been staged to production *Required Skills and Abilities:* • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, access, etc…) • Fluent knowledge of using Windows operating systems • Fluent knowledge of the Internet and Internet browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, etc…) • Knowledge of writing basic SQL queries • Demonstrate solid listening, written, and oral communication skills • Effectively work in a team environment • Take initiative to help others through sharing knowledge and experience *Desired Skills and Abilities:* • Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tool • Experience with the Salesforce platform and SAAS applications Qualifications, Training, and Experience: • 3+ year’s experience as a QA Analyst • Must have formal training on QA procedures or software development • Working knowledge of the automated test tools (Selenium, et al) • BS/BA in Computer science – (desired) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
