*Role – Network Security Engineer* *Location – Norcross, GA* *Rate –Negotiable* *Duration – long term* *Network Security Engineer Role:* Design, build and support Checkpoint firewalls protecting complex high availability, high capacity WAN and LAN networks connecting multiple major data centers. *Skills and Experience:* First, candidates must be experienced engineers that design, configure, and support Checkpoint firewall equipment and configurations. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot firewall issues and assist with WAN routing issues, LAN switching issues and load balancer traffic distribution issues. The candidate must be able to gather project requirements and use those requirements to design and perform firewall configuration additions and modifications following defined operating processes. This capability would include strong communication, teamwork, documentation and multiple project balancing skills.
