Send the profiles to [email protected]. thanks!! *Looking for NETWORK DATA ENGINEER* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: 1 year.* *Rate: $40/hr. * The client has lowered their requirements on F5 Load balancers so they are primarily interested in engineers that can design and configure Cisco and Juniper routers in a WAN. They really aren’t that interested in Switches ether. Just WAN routers. They need to be able to: • Configure the WAN router and load in while on site at the client's location in Atlanta • Ship the loaded router to the location it is to be installed • Configure the primary routers in the network to make them aware of that new router prior to it being installed • Remotely bring up the router by giving direction to the field technician and then remotely bringing the router onto the network and testing it to ensure it works. • They also need strong communications skills. *Job Description:* *NETWORK DATA ENGINEER:* - Responsible for providing custom data network operational support, design, engineering, and planning for complex global data network and communications projects involving TCP/IP and related protocol connectivity for networks supporting client customers in a 7x24 environment. - Responsible for the management of the interoperability between Cisco and Juniper Layer 3 Platform, through the use of alarm and ticket systems, individual designed customized scripts, customer notification, and Business Partner escalations. - Responsible for deploying new routers, switches, and trunk capacity as well as configuring them - Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with the CISCO, Juniper, and associated Operations Support Systems, and Data - Communications Network Technology platforms. - Experience with MPLS Layer 3 VPN on Juniper routers. - Experience configuring QoS on Juniper and Cisco routers. - Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Typically high school diploma and a CCNA is a requirement. 3+ years’ experience in a related field. *Desired skills/experience:* - The candidate should have a complete understanding of Layer Two Switching concepts as well as configuring and troubleshooting VLANs - An Understanding of IEEE 802 Solid technical background on Cisco and Juniper multi-services platforms - Layer 3 IP Networking - IP Data Networking, Cisco 65xx/76xx - SONET/Eth Transport - IP Routing BGP/OSPF/LDP - VLAN/Trunking - Call center experience - Microsoft Office Programs *Certifications: * - CCNA (preferred).
