Kindly Send Resumes to [email protected] *Position: **Oracle DBA* * Location: **Roseland, NJ* * Duration: 6+ months (can be extended upto 2 years)* *Locals or nearby face to face after phone interview.* *Responsibilities:* · DBA need to have expert level skills in administering Real Application Cluster (RAC) databases with in depth level of understanding of operating system and clustering infrastructure. · Expert level skills in Oracle Data Guard, standby database solutions, and able to troubleshoot issues in standby database configurations. · Expert level skills in managing ASM storage infrastructure. · Expert level skills in identify query performance issues, recommend performance improvement solutions, in terms of both application code and database configurations. · Ability to represent database team as a subject matter expert during problem management situations. · Extensive exposure to AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, SQL profiling, SPM, SQLT, OSW report analysis and follow up service requests with Oracle Technical Support. · Expert level skills in backup and recovery solutions. · Some experience with Oracle replication technologies such as Golden Gate, streams, or snapshot replication. · Nice to have some support level knowledge in SQL Server database technology including clustering solutions.
