*Position Organizational Role*
The Business Analyst needed will assess, plan, implement and evaluate
information system support needs for Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll
business operational areas for the PeopleSoft HCM Upgrade (8.9 to 9.1).
The Business Analyst will work with the IT Team to help identify and
implement upgrade solutions that support more efficient processes within
the PeopleSoft system. Upgrade experience is required. The Business
Analyst will serve as an expert regarding system functionality.
*General Job Responsibilities*
- Demonstrate expertise by developing system designs, functional
specifications, implementation strategies and operational procedures based
on the analysis and organizational needs of the upgrade.
- Assist with the related identification, reporting, analysis and
resolution of issues with the PeopleSoft system, HR, benefits & payroll
interfaces, and reporting.
- Facilitate requirements retro-fitting and information gathering
sessions with Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll groups to identify:
current business processes, current issues relating to business processes,
business objectives, process improvement opportunities, alternative
solutions incorporating new version PeopleSoft capabilities to replace
manual processes.
- Analyze findings to develop an end-to-end solution, applying business
process re-engineering for upgrade changes or enhancements to the
PeopleSoft system.
- Provide functional documentation for upgrade changes.
- Develop queries for user groups HR, Benefits and Payroll team members
on creating new queries.
*Job Requirements*
- Must have previous Business Analysis experience with Benefits, HR, and
Payroll.
- 5+years experience working with PeopleSoft HCM / HRMS.
- 5+ years experience with an SDLC, system development methodologies
and requirements gathering.
- Ability to translate business needs into system specifications
- Upgrade experience with HR, Base Benefit, Benefits Administration
and Payroll
- Solid experience with process improvement methods and interface
design.
- Strong collaboration, organization and listening skills
- Good oral and verbal communication skills
- BS or equivalent experience required
- PeopleSoft functional HCM, PeopleTools 8.49-8.52, Expert Query
writing skills, SQL Management Studio, MS Office, VISIO, MS
