This position owns tools such as Chef, a configuration management tool. This position develops processes and coordinates the work across development and operations to make sure we have the right components (AMIs, Recipies, etc). This position is also responsible for automated builds utilizing tools such as Jenkins. This person is responsible for analyzing, evaluating, implementing and supporting cloud development, deployment and automation tools to maintain a continuous delivery and continuous deployment environment. Establishing, supporting and maintaining standard processes in a development cloud environment are critical to the success of this development operations (DevOps) team. Supporting the users of the development and development integration (dev-int) environments will require analytical skills and automation of processes. The DevOps team will work closely with the Operations side of Client IT as applications, services and data migrate between environments from development to dev-int, dev-int to test and test to on-premise. *SKILLS REQUIRED FOR ALL THREE POSITIONS:* *Skills, Experience and Requirements* *A successful* Senior Analyst/Developer on the DevOps team *will have the following:* · *Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and one plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* · Experience in system development and development operations. · 7 years of experience in IT systems development and/or operations with 3+ years of that experience with Windows, UNIX, Linux, processes and process automation. · Experience with cloud operations and cloud architecture. · Experience with issue analysis and issue resolution. · Experience with cloud migration process automation consisting of script preparation, implementation and use, and user support.
