•Total: 8+ Years of experience
•Relevant: Minimum of 5 years in Administration / Support
*Technical Requirements: *
•Installing, configuring and maintaining IBM AIX servers
•Account and Printer administration
•Patch and package administration
•Configuration and administration of Logical volume manager.
•Fine tune the system for optimal performance
•Changing kernel parameters
•Understanding of SAN environment
•Day to day administration task on HACMP environment
•Understanding of Unix Security baseline
•Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
•Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
•Good documentation skills
•Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
•Should have a great customer handling skills
•Able to handle unforeseen situations
•High level of acceptance
•Worked on Production systems
•Datacenter understanding
•Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
•Experience on following will be added advantage
•Samba
•DNS
•NIM
•Sendmail
•LDAP
•Monitoring Tools (like BMC Patrol, HP openview, IBM Tivoli)
