*General Description *
Responsible for ensuring consistent engineered processes across all
Microsoft client OS platforms
Responsible for defining hardware specifications and proven ability to
build needed hardware platforms in both physical and virtual configurations
Lead efforts in investigating, evaluating and implementing best practices
based on knowledge of the environment.
Develop custom hardware/software profiles and components using Microsoft’s
Windows Embedded platform.
Applying modifications and customizations to the OS through registry
modifications & custom vb scripts
Scripting to install application and drivers into device OS images (VB or
other)
Developing utilities and processes to optimize images and installation
procedures
Develop and document design specification and build processes
Troubleshooting/debugging software and hardware problems related to the
operating system or supporting applications, drivers, and services.
Provide technical input to medium and large scale enterprise projects.
Work with aplication development teams to ensure design compliance and
operating system compatibility with system and platform specific
applications.
*Technical Requirements *
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Detailed knowledge of Windows (Win 7/Win 8)), windows registry,
Applications, and computer drive imaging technologies(WDS - Windows
Deployment Service, Symantec Ghost), and client platforms and related
hardware
Experience in handling 3rd or 4th level deep technical support of end user
computing environments
Experience in Handling Windows Imaging Projects
VB Script(Visual Basic) & Pearl Scripting
Windows WDS(Windows Deployment Service)
*Soft Skills *
-Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
-Good documentation skills
-Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
-Should have a great customer handling skills
-Able to handle unforeseen situations
-High level of acceptance
*Other Skills / Experience *
Experience in Microsoft’s OEM Pre-installation Kit (OPK) tools
Experience in software development, processes, and methods
QA/Software Testing/Troubleshooting experience.
Application Packaging(using standard packaging tool and customization)
Knowledge of PXE and DHCP functionality

Compulsory MCTS 70-680
