*.Net Programmer* *Location: Troy, Michigan* *Duration: Long Term* *Rate: Negotialbe* *Locals preferred/Bay Area* *Need 5-6 of Experience Candidates only* This position is located within the IT Department of Retail Markets. Candidate will assist development with multiple tasks, including conversion of legacy application to new VB.net, ASP.net, C#, WPF environments. Candidate will assist in documentation, database design, and assisting technical support with various problems. *RESPONSIBILITIES :* • Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, supervisor, and sometimes the customer • Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic • Assist technical support with various tasks • Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes • Maintains clear, well written documentation in relation to various projects • Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed *SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS :* • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred • Must have 3-5 years of programming experience • Must have experience with VB.net, ASP.net, C# • A working knowledge of WPF • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SQL Server • Specific knowledge of at least MSSQL Server technologies (2008R2, 2012) surrounding key areas o Performance tuning o Architecting efficient designs o Solid knowledge of Indexing o Preferred experience with MSSQL Service Broker o SQL Server Impact Analysis o SSRS, SSIS, SSAS • Retail inventory experience • POS experience (a plus but not required) • Customer service experience • Dedication to projects and company • Attention to detail • Software design experience • An understanding of software development fundamentals • Software documentation abilities Best Regards, *Tim* *Cohesive Technologies* *Desk:* (678)-720-1555 || *Email:* [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
