This role is heavily involved in projects, communication skills are key as they
will be working closely with the PM's and BU contacts within projects. It is
important this individual has a strong grasp of the ITIL standards and
processes. Remedy experience is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
This Windows Server Engineer position will be
responsible for:
Execute medium to
large complex technology projects with focus on the Windows Server
Platform.
Actively collaborate with Business Unit contacts
(customers) and applicable technical teams (Architecture, Solution\Technical
Integrators, etc.) to design and plan Windows Server solutions.
Understand and utilize technologies within Cargill’s
IT Framework and Service Delivery standard solutions to fulfill the project
requirements of the customer.
Expected to work and research solutions
independently.
Responsible for implementing agreed upon solution and
leveraging individuals/teams as needed to achieve desired outcome.
Expected to actively leverage and collaborate with
other IT contacts and BU partners within a global environment.
Responsible for setting expectations and providing
necessary updates to all impact parties.
Follow ITIL standards and processes using tools such
as Remedy.

Windows Server Engineer position will be a great match for a candidate with the

5+ years of Windows Server technical experience in an
enterprise environment.
Experience
designing and implementing complex Windows Solutions.
Familiarity in a global enterprise
with:
Windows 2003 & 2008 Server
OS
VMware
Citrix
Dell
Hardware
Ability to work successfully
in both a team environment and independently.
Effectively participate in a virtual, globally,
diverse, distributed team.
Broad understanding of how technology impacts
business
Strong verbal and written
communication skills including fluency in English and cultural
awareness
Strong problem-solving /
customer service skills.
Ability to
troubleshoot problems in most components of the technology
structure.
Technical support
experience in an enterprise networked (LAN/WAN) environment.
Ability to quickly cut through issues and choose best
solutions and course of action.
Demonstrated project leadership
