The contractors will be responsible for the design and development of the Global Data Warehouse framework and foundation layer. He / She must demonstrate an ability to understand business processes, solve complex technical problems, take responsibility in delivering complex solutions, and adhere to Re: Sources IT practices. The contractor will interact with the technical leads and solution architects, project and program manager, infrastructure and hosting. The position requires strong ETL experience, dimensional data modeling and a thorough understanding of the SDLC process. Strong technical analysis background is a must-have to ensure that deliverables provide flexible infrastructure with the ability to reuse in future components. The ability to collaborate with co-workers, onsite and offshore contractors, and cross-functional teams is required. *This is considered a “hands on” technical position. The candidate will be accountable for the definition of viable conceptual and ETL designs to meet specific business needs, as well as code ETL, as appropriate * *Contractor will produce the following deliverables:* ∙ Analysis of the business report utilization, KPI’s and data objects ∙ Interact with Business Systems Analyst and SME to understand business needs ∙ Interact with Business Intelligence team members, architects to expend upon technical solutions ∙ Develop a logical and physical database design by applying Re:Sources IT data design standards and guidelines for all in scope work o Up to 200 global/regional reports, dashboards o 10 cubes, o 13-15 data marts ∙ Design and develop ETL Framework o Create and design reusable ETL templates o Design and document ETL release approach o Deliver ETL configuration, source to target mapping o Development of the transformation SSIS jobs o Development using SSRS ∙ Understand source data components and how they integrate with each other and existing EDW structures. ∙ Ensure solution designs address performance requirements, reusability, availability, integrity, security challenges, and business functional requirements ∙ Provide estimates of work to be done. *Work will be assigned and managed by Re: Sources IT* *Job Skills Required:* · Proven record implementing end to end DW solutions · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work and deliver independently · 10+ years of Data warehouse and BI experience · 10+ years ETL and DW architect level experience in implementing large scale platforms. Experience with MS SSIS, reusable ETL · Experience with MS SSRS · 6+ years dimensional modeling experience - Star Schema Design and data warehouse standards knowledge · Ability to understand a Report Requirement and business logic and incorporate it to the Global Dimensional Model · Functional Flows knowledge of SAP Financials modules: Vendor, Time, Billing & Revenue, Job management, HR a plus · Good understanding of SAP objects (ECC and BW) · Experience with Row and Role Level Security · AD (Active Directory) and SharePoint authentication and authorization · Strong experience with ETL concepts and tools such as: SSIS, SQL stored procedures, Informatica, DataStage · Programming experience (SQL, Visual Basic, C, C++); Web / Internet experience (MS .Net, HTML, ASP, XML, XSL, JavaScript) · Hands-on development experience (60-70% hands-on development and 30-40% architecture). · Expert RDBMS knowledge of MS SQL Server with strong experience on backend processes and engineering (additional experience with Oracle preferred) · Implementation experience with Data Modeling concept (star schema) and tools such as ERwin · Recent relevant experience developing large scale data warehouses / data marts, ETL solutions, OLTP & OLAP platforms, reporting solutions and dashboards · Knowledge with BI / Reporting tools such as MS SSRS, Cognos, Business Object, Hyperion · Advertising and Financial industry experience preferred Thanks Dinesh [email protected] 510-298-3033. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
