The Release & Application manager is responsible for Release Management and
the management of DCCS (Mainframe Code Deployment Tool), Dimensions
(Distributed Code Deployment Tool), and interim support of Incident
Management (TTTS) and Integrated Voice Response (IVR) tool. The Release
Manager will be responsible for implementing a holistic (people, process,
technology) view which considers all aspects of a change including
planning, designing, building, testing, training, communications and
deployment activities. They are the Subject Matter Expert for Release
Management and the identified applications. The Release & Application
manager is responsible for:* Establishing ITIL-aligned Release Management
policies, processes and procedures * Implementation and enforcement of
Release Management

*Responsible for the guidance of application systems *analyst/programmer.
Leads, Instructs, directs, assigns, and checks the work of other
application systems analyst/programmers. Leads the formulation and
definition of system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or
modify procedures to resolve complex problems taking into consideration
computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form
desired results. Research and fact finding to develop and/or modify complex
integration of applications and solutions across the enterprise
(corporation). Prepare detail specifications from programs will be written.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs.
Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of
application systems analysis/programming activities. Demonstrate expertise
in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on
extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a
variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected. Lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a
supervisor/manager or senior manager. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a
related area and eight plus years of experience in the field or in a
related area.

*Required Skills:*
* Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience.
* Excellent project management skills and ability to lead a team in a high
paced environment.
* Excellent communications skills including working knowledge of MS office
products.
* Experience with Audit systems, IT security assessments and auditing
standards.
* Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley controls and their implementation in Business
as well as IT.
* Knowledge of package software environments such as Dimensions.
* Knowledge of IT development languages in the mainframe and distributed
environments.
* Knowledgeable of ITIL Release Management processes and tools.
* Ability to be on call for 24/7 support as necessary.
