Can you describe 3 key areas you would have to know?
*Background of request:*
- Solaris 10 to Solaris 11 upgrade
- New Oracle Server hardware being deployed
- 2 types of server migration/deployment
- Scheduled: One build will have 4-5 day to migrate server during
window outage
- Live: Live migration of existing server
*Resource requirements:*
- Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center
- Will Primarily be working in Application Integrator (AI)
creating and modifying deployment plans
- AI “scripting” modification and elements of O/S features of the
boot environment
- Knowledge of ZFS
- Vfstab
- Vpools
- Knowledge of networking of Solaris 11 (virtual features)
*Optimal additional experience:*
- Knowledge of the Live Migration capability
- Ldom / T4 Hypervisor knowledge
