Requires previous experience with Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, VMWare
Horizon Workplace, VMWare Horizon Mirage, VMWare Horizon View, VMWare
ThinApp, and VMWare Fusion.  Experience with definition/maintenance of
capacity, demand, and operational models necessary to keep Client, Hosted,
and Presentation Virtualization technologies healthy.

3+ years of technical leadership on both traditional and virtual desktops.
3+ years of experience with a 20 to 40,000 desktop end point environment,.
2+ years of experience performing business as usual tasks on in a
virtualization environment accounting for 20000+ users leveraging
application virtualization, client virtual desktops, hosted virtual
desktops, and presentation virtualization.
3+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, VMWare
Horizon Workplace, VMWare Horizon Mirage, VMWare Horizon View, VMWare
ThinApp, and VMWare Fusion.
Communication - Ability to communicate capacity, demand, and other
requirements as well as technical issues to cross functional groups and
business customers.




    Perform day-to-day run-the-engine tasks to ensure that the Virtual
Desktop platforms are working appropriately and highly available to the
customer base; and that any issues are being proactively resolved.
•    Act as third level support within the incident management process for
the Virtual Desktop platforms.
•    Perform routine capacity planning and demand management for the
Virtual Desktop platforms.
•    Perform all configuration management processes needed to stay
compliant with Capital One guidelines.
•    Develop and work with management to implement training plans for the
customer and WTS personnel.
•    Develop and present business cases and returns on investment as
required.
•    Develop and present project plans, desktop budgets, or charter/scope
as required
•    Day to Day administration of the Virtual Desktop platforms, including
but not limited to provisioning/maintaining pools, performing upgrades, and
monitoring health of environment..
