Client: State of TN
Position: VB.NET Developer
VB.Net / SQL Developer opportunity available with our client. This staff
member will work with the development team to maintain existing legislative
applications and build the next generation of integrated applications for
the Tennessee General Assembly.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and provide technical support for existing applications.
Develop new applications.
Develop test plans and thoroughly test and debug all programs
prior to implementation.
Work closely with team leads in providing timeline and task
information through analysis based on a proposed project scope.
All other responsibilities as assigned
Education/Experience:
At least 2 years of experience developing with VB.NET / ASP.NET /
Web Services / WCF Data Services
At least 2 years of experience developing with MS SQL 2005 or above
Ability to adapt quickly and quickly learn new concepts and
software
Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail
oriented, responsible team-player
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software
implementation best practices
Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities / multiple
deliverables
Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
