Title: Network Administrator posted on 2014-07-01 19:10:24 Job Description:Hi, Please go through the below our direct client requirement and let me know your interest. *Role: Network/System Administrator* *Location: SAN JOSE, CA* *Duration: 6 Month(s)* *Job Description*: • experience in NOC/TAC related environment • A Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science/MCA/MS or equivalent • Direct experience with IT Managed Services industry including intermediate understanding of strategic and tactical components. • Previous experience in supporting IT applications that are in hosted datacenter environments • Deep knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration • Good understanding of Databases • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. • Intermediate knowledge of network management, network availability & Performance Management. • Intermediate understanding of Change Management process • Proactive monitoring to minimize impacts to application availability as per SLA. • Automating tasks with Perl scripts, Java programs and SQL queries for proactive monitoring. •Production support activities including analyzing & executing scripts and monitoring the log files.
