*JD Edwards Business Systems Analyst Core Team member for the design,
configuration, testing and rollout of a global manufacturing solution using
the JDE EnterpriseOne software in a manufacturing environment. 1. Develop
user requirements, based on plants business analysis/document in user
requirements specification (URS) 2. Design global process model in to-be
process flows based on existing Client JDE global manufacturing
model/business requirements from other Client facilities 3. Conduct gap
analysis to determine if all requirements are met by the global model;
where gabs exist propose/design solutions to mitigate/ eliminate gaps 4.
Write functional/technical specifications for data conversion, integrations
in/out of JDE, reports, and bolt-on enhancements. 5. Configure JDE to meet
business requirements in URS/conform to global model documented in to-be
process flows 6. Develop positive/negative testing scenarios - write test
scripts to demonstrate model/ configuration of software to meet all URS
requirements 7. Execute test scripts/support the end users in executing
test scripts. Troubleshoot issues/ propose solutions to correct issues
found in testing. 8. Develop comprehensive end users training plan. Develop
training materials, e.g. user guides/work instructions. Deliver training to
users/ train SMEs to deliver user training. 9. Respond to second/third
level support tickets: assess issue, root cause and identify solutions to
remediate issues. 10. Utilize change control processes to implement
changes/corrections to system configuration, following SDLC processes and
quality validation. 11. Provide functional/ technical leadership, guidance
and consulting to site team members, JDE users, others as needed. Develop
skills for self, peers and subordinates. Maintain current knowledge of
relevant technologies. To perform this job successfully, an individual have
the following skills and experience: 1. 10+ years implementing JDE One
World in manufacturing plants; 3+ years implementing release 8.12 or above
2. Writing functional/technical specifications for JDE development 3.
Experience with multiple software implementation methodologies 4.
Implemented projects in a validated life science environment 5. Prior
Manufacturing non-IT business experience 6. JDE implementation experience
in a complex, global business environment 7. In depth experience
diagnosing/solving software-hardware operational problems ; determining
course of action 8. Proven track record delivering large scale technical
solutions in manufacturing operations. 9. Preferred: hands-on development
tools experience, project management certification*
