JOB DESCRIPTION:
Specific Technical Knowledge and Experience Required:
Superior knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, JDBC, JMS, JBoss, XML, Web
Services, JUnit. Must be very strong with OO design.
Experience in developing stored procedures and database triggers
in T-SQL language under Sybase or SQL Server environment.
Experience in analyzing performance of queries/procedures and
optimizing queries/procedures
Experience with UNIX/Windows scripting languages e.g. Bourne/Korn
shell, JScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc.
Knowledge of Client-server concepts, (3 tier architecture concepts
preferred), and GUI development concepts required, Java Swing experience
preferred
Specific Business Knowledge and Experience Required:
Experience in either the Investment Management or Broker-Dealer
domain desired. Experience with Fixed Income securities data a plus
Strong written and verbal English skills a must
Highly self-motivated, very high attention to detail, results
oriented, and capable of independent and critical thinking and problem
solving
