URGENT REQUIREMENT FOR TIVOLI STORAGE MANAGER ADMINISTRATOR IN NORTHERN NJ Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator needed for enterprise level support. Duties will include the day to day operations, project support, and documentation of TSM Environment within a Windows, AIX, SUN and LINUX landscape. Additionally, support for NetApp NAS clients and jobs will be required. The potential candidate must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work off hours and weekends as determined by operational and project schedules. Requirements: • A 4-year degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 3 to 5 years of TSM systems administration experience with the ability to operate and administer multiple Tivoli Storage Manager Servers running on AIX. • Experience writing and debugging shell scripts in standard UNIX shells. • Configuration and implementation of new clients and schedules. (Windows, Linux and AIX) • Problem determination/resolution of client backup schedules. • Must have AIX Administration experience and be capable of performing AIX client upgrades. • Familiar with IBM TS3500, EMC Data Domain, and NetApp. • Assist System Administrators with restore requests. • Familiar with NetApp TSM/NDMP operations. • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to work with large diverse groups. • Very good communication skills (verbal and written) including MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Projects). • Understanding or ITIL standards and terminality and service desk tools such as Remedy. Certifications in TSM, NetApp, Linux or AIX are a plus.
