*Job Title: Sharepoint Site Admin* *Location: Houston,TX* *Duration : 12+ months* *Required Skills:* Experience with SharePoint 2010 content, including updating web parts, uploading files, tagging content with meta data, creating new lists, libraries, calendars, etc. Fundamental understanding of managed meta data and how SharePoint Search Refiners/Facets work Organize and structure sites and information effectively for user community Collaborate with site content owner to improve requested site usability and compliance with governance standards Manage permissions, including content owners, contributors and visitors for each site Establish versioning, utilize content types, review security compliance, and managed meta data for all content Setup and train users on alerts to monitor activity on business critical information as required Ensure uniform navigation throughout sites and follow best practices as established by the Governance Plan Monitor and maintain site deliverable items from open status to closed status and all steps in between, making sure there is a resolution timeframe. Communicate all issues/roadblocks and describe their impact and severity to progress on deliverables. Analyze current business requirements/deliverables and map to SharePoint, per issue collected. Participate in daily stand-up meeting with effective communication Work with correct business contacts to ensure all the details are captured and report daily on progress towards resolution Follow-up with team and analysts on issues/roadblocks to ensure there is a resolution delivered on time. Be available to discuss issues with key stakeholders outside the project team 2-3 years of SharePoint 2007 / 2010 site collection administrator experience Good listening skills and ability to explain in a clear and concise way Experience with working and interacting with global team by adapting to work schedules and style. Proficient in the use of software such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and strong general computing skills in a Microsoft Windows environment Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Documentation/training material development skills.
