Client: Mercury Insurance Top 3 Skillsets: Microstrategy, Data Warehouse, ETL Location: Brea, CA Length: 6+ Months *Top Three Skills:* MicroStrategy lead to take direction from a day to day activity. She/he will then provide direction to the technical teams to model the data into appropriate designs. In addition, the individual should have the following qualifications: • Comprehensive, hands on knowledge of MicroStrategy and Data Warehousing best practices. • Proficient in logical data modeling for a Data Warehouse *Job Description:* with MicroStrategy lead to take direction from a day to day activity. In addition, the individual should have the following qualifications: • Comprehensive, hands on knowledge of MicroStrategy and Data Warehousing best practices. • Proficient in logical data modeling for a Data Warehouse • Experience with both analytical and operational reporting environments • Ability to work with business to understand both strategic and tactical needs then translate into an action plan and specifications for the technical team. • Able to identify and understand technical challenges and communicate clearly to business • Experience in training and supporting business users in MicroStrategy • Experience in forming Power User groups to enable business to most effectively leverage and own the BI solution • Experience with Dashboards and Ad Hoc environment • Comfortable playing lead role in managing or driving projects forward • Strong MicroStrategy report development • Familiar with the MicroStrategy product suites: Architect, Intelligence Server, Web Server, Integrity Manager • Ability to work independently and little to no direction • Advanced SQL skills *Additional Information:* •There are 2, 6 month contract positions that could extend or go fulltime for Microstrategy Architect/Developer/Administrator roles •These resources will be working with the business and must have strong SQL skills and in depth experience with data modeling and microstrategy •There are 5 new projects kicking off in September and Deanne you are responsible for 2 as the Applications Developer Supervisor for MicroStrategy 1 is the Recon project to measure and analyze defects in your current data-warehouse. During your recent reconciliation process you discovered the your core KPI’s were inaccurate and found 40 defects in the verification process.
