Client will Skype/phone screen to hire. Need Linux to be there focus
Our Client located in Reston, VA is in need of six (6) Linux System
Administrators in Reston, VA, for an initial contract through December 31,
2014, with good probability of extension.
The Linux Admin will be responsible for the care and feeding of our clients
environment, performing new builds, and maintenance of the systems that run
the client’s nationwide WIFI environment.
The Linux Admin must have proven experience in an operations environment
with systems that deliver product to clients or the systems that house the
tools that monitor those systems.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years Strong Linux system administration experience
- Knowledge of RHEL or equivalent
- Experience in an operations environment
- Systems that deliver product to clients, or
- Systems that house the tools that manage those systems
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking
- Tunneling, network protocols
- Scripting knowledge
- Wi-Fi experience
